forktrucks.com has put buyers in touch with the UK forklift and materials handling trade since 2000. Membership is for forklift truck dealers, parts and ancillary suppliers and specialist equipment companies. The people who use the site have a truck to buy, hire or sell, or a question only a dealer can answer, and membership puts your company in front of them. What members get
- Your card on every page you cover. Logo, headline, phone, website and a contact link on each manufacturer, parts and specialist page for the makes and categories you tick. Written by us from your website if you prefer, edited by you when you like.
- The eMail-Shot Tools. Reach the trade in one go, with an attachment: the forklift dealers, the parts and ancillary suppliers, the plant machinery companies, the transport companies when you have a machine to move, and the recruitment agencies when you are hiring. Offers, parts wanted, stock lists, new lines. A PDF compressor is provided for larger attachments.
- Your stock on the site. List your used equipment with photos, a public price and a trade price the public never sees. Your stock list can sit on your own website too, updated by you here. Listings feed the latest deals pages and the price guide.
- Your own page and badge. A page of your own on forktrucks.com with your details, categories and current stock, and a badge for your website that links to it.
- Quote requests for your area. Buyers tell us where the equipment will be used and what they need; the request reaches the members covering that area with the buyer’s details, and you reply direct. No charge per lead.
- Questions and used trucks. Buyers who are not yet sure which machine they need can put a question to the dealers covering their area through Ask a Dealer, and companies with redundant trucks can offer them to the members who buy used equipment.
One annual membership covers all of it. There are no extra charges for adverts, leads or listings.

- Two more eMail-Shot audiences: the plant machinery companies and the transport companies, each filtered by country and, in the United Kingdom, by area.
- Ask a Dealer — a buyer puts a plain question to the members covering their area, before they know what to ask for.
- Your own page and a badge for your website, and your listing card rewritten in your own words whenever you like.
- Hours on every truck, with an “up to” filter on the search so a buyer can compare properly.
- Trade prices for signed-in members on every page that lists equipment, with the retail price shown to everyone else.
- Three new parts categories — LPG Specialists, Safety, Lighting and Warning Systems and Access Platform Parts and Spares — each with its own page and its own line on the parts request form.
- Price your equipment in your own currency — euros, dollars, Swiss francs, Scandinavian kroner and more, shown as you entered them.
- A Plant Machinery page for members who also sell or hire diggers, excavators and dumpers, and an Order Pickers page showing every order picker in stock.
- The site, the members area and the eMail-Shot forms all work on a smartphone or tablet — and so do your stock tools, so you can add, update, delete and photograph a truck from a smartphone.
- Sold trucks drop out of the search the moment you mark them sold; buyers see what is in stock, with a status filter for anyone who wants the rest.
- Your used equipment is found by the search engines and readable by AI assistants.
- Quote requests routed by area, so a request reaches the members who cover the place the equipment will be used.
Members get a changelog of every change as it is made.
