3. Membership and Registration
3.1 Membership is restricted to:
- Owners of materials handling equipment businesses
- Employees or representatives of materials handling equipment businesses
- Companies operating in the UK and Europe within the materials handling industry
3.2 You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
3.3 You warrant that you are authorised to represent the business you register for.
3.4 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.5 We reserve the right to verify business credentials and suspend or terminate membership at our sole discretion.
4. Permitted Use
4.1 The Platform may be used only for legitimate commercial purposes related to materials handling equipment.
4.2 You may:
- List equipment for sale
- Send commercial email communications to other members
- Access member contact details for legitimate business purposes
5. Prohibited Activities
You must not:
5.1 Post false, misleading, or deceptive content or advertisements
5.2 Engage in any unlawful trading practices, including:
- Sale of counterfeit or stolen goods
- Unauthorised parallel importation from outside the EEA without proper rights
- Breach of exclusive distribution agreements where you are a party
- Violation of EU or UK competition law
5.3 Send spam or unsolicited communications to non-members
5.4 Use the Platform to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or other criminal activities
5.5 Misrepresent your authorisation to sell particular brands or equipment
5.6 Make false claims about warranties, authenticity, or authorisation
5.7 Violate any applicable UK, EU, or national laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
5.8 Breach consumer protection laws in any member state where you conduct business
6. Content and Intellectual Property
6.1 You retain ownership of content you post but grant us a license to display, transmit, and store such content.
6.2 You warrant that you own or have proper authorisation for all content you post.
6.3 You must not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
6.4 We respect intellectual property rights and will respond to valid takedown notices.
7. Platform Responsibilities and Limitations
7.1 We operate as a hosting platform under UK E-Commerce Regulations.
7.2 We do not pre-screen user content or email communications.
7.3 We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or quality of member content.

3.4 Technical Data: IP addresses, browser information, device identifiers, location data
As Data Processor/Host (User-Generated Content): 3.5 Equipment Listings: Content uploaded by members advertising equipment for sale
3.6 Email Communications: Content of email-shots sent by members through our platform
3.7 Other Member Content: Any other information members choose to upload or transmit
Note: For user-generated content, members are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate rights to process any personal data they include. We process this content solely to provide hosting and transmission services.
4. How We Use Your Information
As Data Controller (Member Database): We process your registration and contact data for the following purposes:
4.1 Contract Performance: To provide Platform services and facilitate business-to-business member communications
4.2 Legitimate Interests:
- Platform security and fraud prevention
- Improving our services
- Investigating reported violations
- Facilitating genuine business communications in the materials handling equipment sector
4.3 Legal Compliance: Meeting our obligations under UK and applicable EU law
As Data Processor/Host (User-Generated Content): 4.4 We process user-generated content solely to provide hosting, transmission, and platform services as instructed by members
4.5 We do not monitor, review, or analyse the content of email-shots or equipment listings
4.6 Members are responsible for the lawfulness of any personal data included in their content
Legal Basis: For business contact data that constitutes personal data, we rely primarily on legitimate interests for B2B communications, contract performance for service provision, and legal compliance where required.
